Forecast: Fayetteville Metro to Lead Population Growth Through 2020
The Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers metropolitan area in northwest Arkansas will lead population growth among other areas in Arkansas through 2020, according to a state economic forecast by Greg Hamilton, director of research for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Institute for Economic Advancement.
According to Hamilton's report, the Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers metro will reach a population of about 600,000 by 2020, up 84 percent from about 325,000 in 2000. That equals an annualized growth rate of about 3.1 percent.
Arkansas also will have greater racial and ethic diversity, thanks in part to the growth of the state's Hispanic population, and its population will become more urbanized.

Consider the good and bad points of the offer, and work with the agents to find a middle ground that you and buyers can live with. You may have to go back and forth several times, and there will probably be compromises on both sides. Unless you are lucky enough to be selling in a strong sellers' market, the buyers will expect to do some bargaining. With a little patience, you and your agent can create a "win-win" situation for you and the buyers.
